Managing conversation tones

Conversation tones are the sounds played when you send and receive a message. By default, your conversation tones are turned on. The volume of conversation tones is controlled by your phone's notifications volume.
To turn these tones on/off:

1. Open WhatsApp.
2. Tap More options > Settings > Notifications > turn on/off Conversation tones.

Keep in mind that adjusting the Conversation tones settings will adjust both the incoming and outgoing message tones simultaneously.
